The merge with XG is upon us!
The merge is current suspended due to unforeseen problems in the XG admin, more info on this when we have it! With 2007 here the meeting between the admins of both clans has taken place, and some important decisions have been made. Thanks to all members who came and took part in the admin Q&A session on Monday it was good to see everyong chatting and checking out all the different ideas

Below is a summary of how the merge will take place:

Details:
- Forums to be hosted on XG server
- Webpages to be hosted on xGz server
- The two areas will be linked together. Clicking forums on the webpages will link to the forums on the XG server.
- Possibility of putting everything on one server will be looked into after merge when we have time to investigate the advnatages of each server fully.
- Dept heads will be able to pick there games tags but they must represent XenoGamers and be approved by the admin.
- Membership to xGz will be open for anyone, however to earn your tags in a particular game and therefore represent XG in that game may require a test/tryout which is again up to the dept head for that game and the tryout/test must be approved by the admin.
-The moderator team is being re-designed to include dept heads and be more suitable to the merged team - details coming later this week (joey working on it)!

Current status:
- Preping the XG forums. xGz is selecting thread and games to bring with us to the new merged team. These are then being copied over.
-Getting members signed up on the new forums ready.
- Once the forums are ready, new systems all up and running and everyone signed up to the right place. A date and time will be set for when the webpages forums link will update to link to the XG forums and at the same time the xGz forums will close(but remain online fo backup use or for some alternate use).

In other news: America's Army has been expanded by Rocker to the point where we now have a clan profile on the AA Tracker website. This will allow us to recruit new members. Check it out: http://aaotracker.com/clanprofile.php?clanid=56213.
Please welcome the new AA members Cmega, Sgt.Pepper, and old members now playing AA too: Orcinus and Just_Life. A few more will join soon!

So for early 2007 watch out for information on how the merge is going, expect to meet lots of new people and make loads of new gaming friends and see some exciting new games coming to xGz to replace some of the older inactive ones! And get involved in some the gaming action we will be planning! It should be a fun and exciting time for us all!
